Manteno School District received notice from the College Board that they were named to the 7th Annual AP District Honor Roll. Only 433 districts across the country earned the distinction of being selected for this honor.

Districts on the AP Honor Roll have simultaneously increased access to Advanced Placement coursework while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on the AP Exam. Inclusion on the 7th Annual District Honor Roll is based on the examination of three years of AP data, from 2014 to 2016. Honor Roll Districts defy the expectation that expanding access automatically results in a decline in the percentage of exams earning scores of 3 or higher.

This award is a result of hard work by the students enrolled in AP courses and the staff that has designed the curriculum and teaches it on a daily basis.
