At 8:00 am on November 10, Manteno High School greeted a group of runners for the Armed Forces School to School Veterans Day Awareness Run. Many shock hands with these Veterans and thanked them for their service.

Then during morning announcements a roll call of those currently serving and are former Manteno graduates was held and bell rang for their safety. The Panther Vision team also put together a picture presentation of those currently serving for the students to see during Study Hall.  This year we were able to honor a current student who has joined the National Guard – Viviana Rodriguez. The school then honored those that had served their country and are currently serving the school as staff members with a roll call.
