All students are covered by the District's student accident insurance while they are at school or participating in a student related activity. However, parents may also purchase additional insurance for their students while the students are not in student activities such as weekends or summer. This insurance is secondary to the family's own health insurance.
This year, we will not be providing brochures for the parents who purchase non-school related accident coverage. Enrollment for these plans will be done online. Parents are directed to the Gerber website www.k12specialmarkets.com where they can obtain full details and enroll their children directly using a credit or debit card. Parents will also have the option to print out an enrollemtn form and mail it with a check or money order. Please see the attached documents on how to enroll online.
