While attending Manteno High School I was very active in the Agriculture Department and the Manteno FFA Chapter. I served as both the FFA Chapter President for two years and Reporter for one year. I then went on to attend Joliet Junior College where I worked as a Teacher Assistant in the Agriculture Department. After earning my Associates degree from Joliet Junior College I transferred to Illinois State University (ISU). While attending ISU I was active within the Agriculture Department. I worked as a Teacher Assistant for the Department Chair of the Agriculture Department and was Vice President of the ISU Collegiate FFA Chapter / Post Secondary Agriculture Students (PAS).  Even after graduating I am still very active within ISU's Agriculture Department. I am a committee member on their Agriculture Education Curriculum Committee, and am also a board member on the ISU Agriculture Alumni Board. After graduating ISU with my Bachelor Degree I became the Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor of Indian Creek High School in Shabbona, IL for two years. I am happy to be back at MHS as the Agriculture Teacher and Manteno FFA Chapter Advisor.
