Experience

While studying at Illinois State University I had many teacher experiences in the Bloomington-Normal area. I have taught in an 8th grade resource/co-teaching classroom, high school self-contained classroom, and in a 3rd-5th grade resource classroom. In the fall of 2013, I completed my student teaching experience at Hufford Junior High School in a 6th-8th grade life skill classroom. After graduating from ISU, I started working at Manteno High School as a paraprofessional in January 2014. I started working at Manteno Middle School in August of 2014.  I started working in the high school PRIDE program in August 2016.

Bio

I started my teaching career in Manteno in 2014. My first year I taught 6th grade instructional language arts and instructional math. During my second year I taught 7th grade instructional language arts and instructional math. My third year I will be at the high school teaching in the PRIDE program. Outside of school, I enjoy baking, reading, watching the Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks, and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to starting the school year and working with the Manteno High School staff!
